“It’s a plant!”

“No, it’s soil!”

No, no, it is organic organism!”

“It’s BACTERIA!”

When it comes to energy the bacteria is specially designed to be able to grab it from harsh places of the world.

Phototrophic:

This group of bacteria are quite unique as they can gather energy much like a plant. They observe the sun’s rays and store them in what is called ATP. ATP stands for Adenosine TriPhosphate. ATP is a cell that carries energy and is found in the cells of every living thing!

ATPs main purpose is to carry energy for the other working parts of the cell. Without ATP you would not be able to get your energy from one place to another and, essentially, would not be able to live!
