Here is a little poem for Veteran’s day, even though I am a little late, I know I have to honor them for their work. For those who do not have a keen poetry eye, the snow represents soldiers in a past war.

Care when snow falls,

As if the snow were there,

While they twirl through the air,

  Images dancing, fires swirling,

 Ground shaking, blood streaming,

Care when snow falls,

As if the calm were gone,

While they pile up on the ground,

   Cries mounting, voices quaking,

 Tears rolling, smiles wakening,

Care when snow falls,

As if the snow could be restored,

Even when no Care is left,

 Triggers pulled, wounds anew,

 Sulfur nose, flash eyes,

Care when snow falls,

As if the snow is here,

So that some Care can be kept
