When did the flood occur?
According to the excepted date by Creationists of the Creation of the world, the world was created in 4004 B.C. This would place the flood at 2348 B.C. according to the account of Moses in Genesis 5.
We can find this date by going from the birth of each biblical son. Like this:
Adam begat Shem in 3874 B.C.
Shem begat Enos in 3769 B.C.
Enos begat Cainan in 3679 B.C.
Cainan begat Mahalaleel in 3609 B.C.
Mahalaleel begat Jared in 3544 B.C.
Jared begat Enoch in 3382 B.C.
Enoch begat Methuselah in 3317 B.C.
Methuselah begat Lamech in 3130 B.C.
Lamech begat Noah in 2948 B.C.
Noah begat his son in 2448 B.C.
Then Noah was 100 years older (so 600 years old) when the flood came, thus giving us the date 2348 B.C. for the flood (Genesis 7:11).
